Certified independent saddle fitter and equine massage therapist.
Horsemanship is a full-time job, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love every minute of it. (I could do without the mud, yet couldn't we all?)
As a nurse practitioner on one side, and an equestrian on the other, I use my deep knowledge of biomechanics to help human and horse alike. And although horses don't speak with words, they communicate through behavior and their energy. Much like humans. My superpower is that I understand how horses communicate and am able to interpret it for humans that don't.
My mission is to promote deeper connection within the horse and rider team through empathic understanding and observation, thoughtful saddle selection and fitting, and restorative body work.

Super grateful to have such expertise so close to home! I am having a custom saddle made for my little mare and the saddle maker is 4.5 hours away. Jessica went above and beyond not only communicating prior to the appointment but communicated directly with the saddle maker during the appointment AND is committed to assisting with future fittings - this little mare has never had a perfect fit - we can’t wait to see what we end up with. We also happened to have a new horse in the barn so he got a fitting too. I learned what saddles fit him best, have a custom tracing of his back and have the entire visit documented for my reference.
